The short version
A free tool, provided as is, that you run in your own browser using your own Google API credentials. Use it on sites you are entitled to test. It comes with no warranty.
PageSpeed Sampler is a free, open-source utility published by Jake Labate, SEO Consultant. It discovers a site's sitemap, samples a set of URLs, measures them with the Google PageSpeed Insights API, and reports the results. It runs entirely in your browser. There is no account, no subscription and no service being operated on your behalf.
The tool uses your own Google PageSpeed Insights API key and, optionally, your own Google OAuth client. All API usage counts against your quota and is subject to Google's own terms. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for any usage incurred under them.
The tool is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Measurements come from Google's Lighthouse infrastructure and vary between runs. Sitemap discovery depends on third-party sites and public proxies that may be slow, wrong or unavailable. Nothing the tool outputs should be treated as authoritative without your own judgement applied to it.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jake Labate is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages arising from your use of this tool, including lost data, lost revenue, exhausted API quota, or decisions made on the basis of its output.
